In the metalworking industry, recruiting technical staff has become a major challenge. Like many industrial companies, ADEOS is facing growing shortages in production roles.
To address this, the company has adopted a proactive approach: training its future employees before they are hired.
A POEI to provide training in the metalworking trades
ADEOS is therefore launching a POEI (Individual Operational Employment Preparation) in partnership with the training division ofUIMM Bretagne in Bruz (35) and France Travail.
This program allows candidates to be trained prior to hiring in skills directly related to the company’s industrial operations.
The training program includes:
- CNC bending,
- welded assembly,
- reading blueprints,
- quality and safety.
This vocational training program, which lasts approximately 190 hours, leads to a CQPM (Certificate of Joint Qualification in the Metalworking Industry) as an Industrial Production Worker.
A practical path to industrial employment
The goal of this approach is clear: to facilitate rapid and sustainable integration into the company.
The tour includes:
- an introduction to ADEOS and its workshops,
- a skills assessment,
- a job interview.
Upon completion of the training program, ADEOS commits to hiring at least six candidates who have been trained in its methods and industry standards.
This approach helps ensure both successful hiring and skill development.
